The Washington Football Team promoted Jennifer King to assistant operating backs coach on Tuesday, making her the NFL’s first full time Black feminine coach.
King, who was an intern below Washington operating backs coach Randy Jordan throughout the 2020 season, is the second feminine assistant coach within the NFL after Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant line of defense coach Lori Locust.
Washington head coach Ron Rivera stated King deserved the promotion for the hours she put in for in-season and low season work in a season the place they made the playoffs.
